GLASS

Prep G Plus is suitable as a black pre-treatment agent for glass if the glass is not provided with a ceramic coating to protect the glass/glue bonding surface protect against UV light. Applications are in particular glass substrates (also PMMA and PC) in the automotive, bus, ship and train industries. Aluminum profiles for facade panel bonding Prep G Plus is suitable as a black primer for anodized aluminum or blank aluminum profiles such as EN AW-6060 T66 and EN AW-6063 T66 with a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm.

 

METHOD OF USE

Surface: The surface must be clean, dry, free of dust and dust to be fat-free. The surface of aluminum profiles serves to be undamaged without scratches or corrosion. The The surface must be cleaned with, for example, Bostik Cleaner I or Liquid 1. This must be taken into account with a drying time of 10 minutes.

Application: Keep the Prep G Plus package closed until the moment of use. Prep G Plus responds with humidity. Shake the bottle before use. A opened bottle should not be reused. Usage preferably a suitable clean foam for the application applicator (but you can apply with a coat brush or roller also). Close the package immediately because the primer evaporates fast. Preferably apply Prep G Plus in one movement.

Processing temperature: between +5°C and +30°C. Avoid use under very humid conditions and on cold substrates. The primer must be tack-free before use is glued.

Drying time: On glass, Prep G Plus needs at least 10 minutes to dry, on aluminum at least 30 minutes. The glue must be applied within 24 hours. Consumption

 

STORAGE STABILITY

Prep G Plus has a shelf life of 12 months unopened original packaging under dry conditions at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C.
